They call it luck... I called it grace

I am not a fun of ABS-CBN's popular noontime show Wowowee hosted by Willie. But what caught my attention was the eight oclock segment where a studio host has a chance to play and win up to Php 200, 000.00.

The computer randomly picked the name of the contestant out of more than a hundred audiences within the studio. Unfortunately, the first name that was called by Willie was unable to show up hence they to select another contestant.

Then the next contestant was called... With a teary eyes, the contestant jumped from where she is seated and hurried to the center stage to play the game. When she approached Willie with no words uttered she cried. And when asked why are you crying? She replied in Tagalog: Where are supposed to go back to Bacolod today but but we ran out of money to purchase for our return ticket.

Still crying like she can't believe that her name was called Willie asked, If you weren't on Wowowee today what will you do? She replied, 'will apply as a house helper so we can raised money to cover our fare.

You may call this as a luck but for me it's GRACE. It is through God's work that they were on the show and it is by God's grace that out of the hundreds studio audience it was her that was called. The absence of the another was even God's work so they will have the opportunity to get the prize. Oh by the way, that first lady that was called and never showed up was already the winner in one of the previous games in Wowowee.

See? Isn't it amazing on how God works in mysterious ways? Sometimes we are at a point where we feel that as if the world is already against us or we may see that God is unfair but in reality He is not.

God simply works in each of our life in His own time.

Whatever you are going through today, remember: "God is too wise to be mistaken and He is too good to be unkind." His grace is sufficient to cover your needs.

Enjoy God and His mercy and grace will be upon you.
